Python Scripts

these are my first cgi scripts in python and i'm sharing them with the web community, especially with web authors who have calendars to maintain on their sites. i hope these are useful tools for them as they are for me. (all sources are provided). python rules!

Python Scripts

ezcalend	Easy Calendar Generator! -  install this script at your website and your visitors will be able to create their own calendar pages. They can change the color scheme, assign an administrator password, and designate the valid users who can add, change delete calendar events.  try ezcalend! ezvobo	Easy Voting Booth Generator! -  you install EZVOBO at your site and your guests can build voting booths. THEIR visitors can enter the booths and take the surveys or even make their own! and depending on the setup options, the people taking the surveys may even add their own answers! try ezvobo!
ezwbgen	Easy WWWBoard Generator! -  install EZWBGEN at your site and you'll be able to give free message boards to your guests! at creation time, the color scheme, admin password, quoting rules, and other display options may be specified. each board is self moderating, always keeping the number of messages below a value defined during board creation, but the admin function allows more options for deleting messages.  try ezwbgen! ezmbgen	Easy Message Board Generator! -  install EZMBGEN at your site and you'll be able to offer message boards sites patterned after the popular Message Board V4.0 script of the CGI-Factory! ezcardgn	Easy Postcard Maker! -  with this script, you give your visitors an opportunity to run their own e-card service! this script was adapted from Jason's Scripts.   try it (script under construction) (11/25/2002)
ezguestx	Easy Guestbook(EX) Maker! -  this script is based on guestex.cgi written by Thomas Tsoi of www.teca-scripts.com and it allows the guestbook maker to control the look of the guestbook by using templates and by specifying entries per page.   try it (10/9/2002)
ezwspg	Easy Web Support Page Maker! -  this script is based on web support script written by Bismarck Tan of https://www.websupport.sourceforge.net and it allows tracking of problems by ticket number and easy administration. templates allows easy reconfiguration.  try it (12/12/2002)

ezpw	Easy Password Retriever! - add a link to this form and you don't have to look up passwords everytime a user requests retrieval of forgotten passwords. they can look it up themselves! (Script submitted by Seppo Huuskonen)
ezdel1	Easy Page Deleter! - this utility is used for administration purposes - it allows the webmaster to delete any unwanted page anytime. try it here. (use "password").

Java Applets
Lotto	based on the Lotto game in California; pick 6 numbers from the range 1 through 53 (no guarantee on wins but if you win, don't forget me!)
Scripto	this applet converts text to a "signature" using only ASCII characters. enter text then press Scripto! and cut-n-paste the result to a text document.
MSquare	a simple applet demonstrating the construction of a 5x5 magic square - it creates a new magic square everytime you press Generate.
DateCalc	this applet is like a mini spreadsheet that calculates the days between 2 dates or computes a new date after offsetting another date.
